Cadrez-moi is a tool for learning photographic picture composition, available as a game available on the site RendezVous Creation (heading Connaissances/Outils pédagogiques). The language used by Cadrez-moi is French.
The composition rules illustrated by this game are:
- The rule of thirds, which consists to place the subject at the intersection of imaginary lines located at the thirds of the image (in width and height).
- The development of the subject, by a good positioning according to the direction of the action or of the glance, and by the level of tightening of framing.
- The geometrical nature of the image.
First of all these rules are explained, then followed by a series of 2 or 3 practical exercises simulating the shooting of a given scene. The frame of the image, its level of zoom, its rotation and its orientation (horizontal or vertical) are adjustable with the mouse or with the keyboard (according to the function). The subject to be photographed is surrounded by a blue line, and a red line indicates the horizon.

When the adjustments are finished, the user shoots by clicking the mouse. A note is then attributed to the resulting image, according to the expected results. The average note obtained with the various exercises of a rule conditions the passage to the next series. If the note is insufficient, it is possible to start again the current series.

At the end of the game part, an album shows the taken pictures.
Cadrez-moi is an original Flash multimedia application, useful to be exerted to compose good pictures. It was realized within the context of an UTC school project by 2 students, Sami Ben Hassine and Fares Nabi, managed by Nicolas Esposito .
